Children use the Internet and social media every day, but the vast majority of them do not use it safely. In fact, the risk of getting sick from the content that you view or interact with is very high.
What are the risks?
Every time you use the Internet or social media, you expose yourself to a risk of being hurt, or even killed. The most common risk is bullying. Bullying is when a person or entity, such as a school, says something bad about you to your face or on social media. It can be anything from telling someone that you are a bad kid to calling you a name or threatening you.
